Easter.

There is so much going on....... It's easy to diminish the importance of Easter with all thats going on in the world. Russian terrorist, this crazy health care government take over, Obama insulting our Israeli friends, the socialization of our nation. It's madness. But there is hope.

When I think of Easter, I am drawn to Christ carrying his cross to Mount Calvary. That is what it means to follow him. We must take that journey with the full knowledge that we will face tortue, torment, ridicule, insults and face certain death. People we love will betray us, our heart will be broken, but in the end, we will be made whole...
To die to self is to deny our selfish desire.

God in heaven, Thank you for your Son. For sending Him to die for my sins. Thank you for the blessings you've poured over me. There is nothing I have that has not been given but out of Your grace. renew me and lead me in the path you have choosen for me. Make me your desciple and open my mind to your word and my ears your your voice. Protect my family and the people of Israel. Amen.
