Being a Disciple

Lord God, my Father. Forgive me of all my negative thoughts, all my sinful actions. Please forgive me of my poor representation of who You are and all that a loving Father provides for his children. As unworthy as I am, Your grace and love never falters. I can't thank You enough for all I've been provided, all that I am and all that I will be. Give me thirst. I want to thirst for Your word. Thirst for sharing You with the world. I have been blessed by You in unmeasurable ways. You promised that the work You started in me would not go unfinished. If I had any authority, I'd hold You to it, but You are the authority and my trust and faith is in You. Please, oh please, bless my father and mother. You have convicted my heart regarding them. Grant me the opportunity and finances to take care of them. I also request intervention for my wife's mother and father. We have an obligation to take care of our children , our parents, the widows and those who cannot help themselves. Search my heart and see there is anything that is offensive. Forgive me.
