First Entry - Reflecting on Spring Break

It's Spring Break and all I can think about is how nice the drive to and from work is. Seems like most everyone is on vacation with thier families and it's nice not to have to fight traffic and race to work with thousands of other bad drivers!

I should be thinking about why I'm not on vacation, but there's work to do, money to be made and bills to pay. We'll have our vacation (another benefit to being employed. PTO!). I'm thinking SeaWorld again this year. The youngest was just a baby. She'll have so much fun. This time it will be my turn with the kids to swim with the dolphins but the wife can come too. My eldest daughter is in Texas with a friends family enjoying a horse show and competition. I'm thankful she's safely watched after by you Father.

I'm thankful I have a job. I'm able to work and go home each evening while so many are not.

Heavenly Father. Thank You for my job. Thank You for the blessings of employment. for putting me here. Let me be light to those around me.

Thank You, Lord, for placing Your hedge of protection around me and my family and all those in Your grace whom are traveling with thier loved ones. All my friends.

I am humbled by Your goodness and generosity.

Thank You for giving us a Saviour; Your Son Jesus Christ, whom died on a cross of wood so we may have eternal life in Your pressence.
